Derrick and Karla are married!!!! Congrats! Also Congrats to the Buschur family who within about 2 hours got a new grandson and son (inlaw). Bill had a baby boy just an hour prior to the ceremony and made it to the wedding in the niche of time! What a wonderful day all around!!!

PS Loved the beach theme and the flip flops with the sign "Have a flippen good time." Just fun!

Thank-you to all of the families that came into the studio for the live bunny pictures. I enjoyed seeing everyone and the kids reactions to the bunny. For some it was their first time to see and touch a real bunny, which was neat. For others it was a little scary, but for most it was really exciting. Only a few times did the bunny get it's ears pulled a bit. All in all it was a lot of fun!

This past week Josyln has gotten very sick with meningitis and has been admitted into Children's Hospital in Dayton. So, I have to tell you, I photograph a LOT of sweet brides and its hard to pick out the sweetest, but I think Amber is one of the best! She wrote me the most awesome email and I just to share it will all of our fellow blog readers! Sara & I work very hard on the weekends giving up time with our family and friends to photograph about 60 weddings a year, when we get emails like this one, it makes every minute of it SO worth it! We LOVE to hear feedback from our clients! Especially positive feedback ;)

I do want you to know how happy Nick and I are with the modern image book. I hope everyone had a great weekend and was able to get to the Octoberfest in Minster. As you can see in the pictures, we were in the parade. I would like to thank my our parents and my husband for all of their help in making this happen. Since Joslyn is just 4weeks old, it took a lot more organization and help from others. IT'S ABOUT THE LEGACY!

I wanted to share this with EVERYONE... I got the chills with Louis came in to do this for her daughter. I personally have NO photos of my grandmother or great grandmother let alone on their wedding day so I thought this was just the most wonderful idea!

A mother came to us about a month ago and had found wedding photographs of her mother and also her great grandmother. She came up with the idea to have a 4 generation frame created of her daughter, her, her grandmother, and her great grandmother. So she had us print a 5x7 print of each bride and then she had them matted and framed for her daughter! What a GREAT gift idea!

Sara and I meet with a lot of brides & grooms and budget is always on their minds. Yes photography for wedding day is an investment and you may want to spend your money somewhere else at the present time...but its not necessarily about the present. Its about the legacy that you leave behind for you kids, your grandkids or even great kids. Invest in a great photographer with great quality prints. Invest in physical prints to have and keep forever...not just images burnt on a cd that can be lost or ruined or even become outdated with time. I compare cds with records or 8tracks. Eventually cds may become outdated and unusable, but if you invest in physical prints, you will have them forever! This is not only true for weddings but also for family & children photography. calbers

Joslyn Mae Zircher was born on September 5th, Weighed 7lb 13oz and she is beautiful! Her big brother, Adam can't get enough of her. He gives her lots of hugs and kisses- he has been so good.
